Sagar Sawant

Sagar Sawant has a diverse work experience in various manufacturing engineering roles. Sagar is currently working at Ultra Clean Technology as a Manufacturing Engineering Lead/Manager, where they are responsible for capacity improvement, setup of new assembly lines, and managing team training. Prior to this, they were a Senior Manufacturing Engineer III, NPI at the same company, leading a manufacturing team in completing multiple electro-mechanical system tools for NPI programs. Before joining Ultra Clean Technology, they worked at Sinclair as a Manufacturing Engineer, leading process improvement and new product development projects and utilizing Lean strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Sagar also has experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at TC Transcontinental, streamlining manufacturing processes and ensuring site safety. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Engineer at McCoy Architectural Systems, directing sheet metal fabrication projects, and as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Skil Founders, leveraging SolidWorks for CAD models and addressing operational delays.

Sagar Sawant holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University, from 2010 to 2014. Sagar Sawant has also obtained several certifications, including SQL for Data Science from Coursera, Agile Project Management from Coursera | Google, Jira Software from LinkedIn, Supply Chain Management from Coursera, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from ASQ - World Headquarters, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Sagar has also acquired expertise in Solidworks.
