Gary Hawkins

Gary Hawkins has an extensive work experience spanning several years. Gary began their career as a Management Consultant/Program Manager/Network Manager in 1990 and worked in this role until 2005. Gary then joined Ultra Electronics Airport Systems in 2005, where they held various positions including Engineering & Technology Director and Head of Engineering/Passenger Products & Program Manager. In this role, they managed a team of 180 employees and was responsible for overseeing a multi-million portfolio of projects and service delivery. Gary also played a key role in securing a £200 million contract in the Middle East. In 2011, Hawkins joined Ultra Electronics Ithra as a Program Manager and was later promoted to Technical Director. Gary was involved in the company's bid to secure a multi-million IT infrastructure engineering contract for the construction of two airports in Oman. Currently, they are working as the Engineering Director and Deputy Project Director at Ultra Energy since 2016.

Gary Hawkins attended the Haberdashers' Aske's School for Boys from 1976 to 1983. Gary then went on to study at the University of Oxford, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry from 1982 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Gary obtained certifications in various areas, including becoming a Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer, ITIL Foundation, MSP Foundation, and PRINCE2 Practitioner.
