Paul Sylvester

Paul Sylvester has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Paul currently holds the position of Head of Information Technology at Ultra Energy, where they are responsible for the strategic direction of the company's IT operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of IT Operations and Security at Taylor Made Computer Solutions and the Head of Technical Services at 365IT.

In their previous roles, Paul played a key role in improving IT infrastructure and support systems. Paul successfully overhauled the failing IT infrastructure at Ultra Energy, transforming it into a state-of-the-art resilient system. At Taylor Made Computer Solutions, they introduced a weekly training program to enhance the skillset of the support team and reduced the backlog of service desk tickets from over 900 to 0 in just 4 months.

Paul Sylvester attended Holloway Grammar School for Boys from 1981 to 1986, where they studied computer science. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled in North London College from 1986 to 1989. Paul obtained a BTEC degree in Computer Sciences during this period.

In terms of certifications, Paul Sylvester has obtained numerous qualifications in the field of IT. Some of their certifications include VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization 2019 from VMware in February 2019, Meraki CMNA from Cisco Meraki in November 2017, VCP6 - DCV from VMware in February 2017, and HP0-S41 Building HP Server Solutions from Hewlett-Packard in July 2015.
