Bradford Powell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting from their most recent position, they currently serve as the President - Command, Control, Intelligence, and Encryption (C2I&E) at Ultra Intelligence & Communications. Here, they lead a team in developing Command and Control and Encryption solutions.
Prior to this, they were the President - FON Federal at FON Advisors, where they built a team focused on applying AI/ML technologies for defense and intelligence purposes. During their tenure, they successfully completed the firm's first M&A transaction and grew annual revenue to over $3 million within 15 months.
At Cubic Mission Solutions, Bradford held two key roles. Firstly, as Vice President / General Manager of Cubic Digital Intelligence, they led a $100 million organization delivering data platforms and applications to the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities. Additionally, as Vice President Corporate Development, they sourced and acquired firms to expand Cubic Mission Solutions' "Mission Chain" strategy.
Before that, at Northrop Grumman, they served as an Operating Unit Director, overseeing multiple program managers, capture managers, and their teams. Bradford also held the position of General Manager for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Arabia, where they led a multinational team in delivering integrated security and Command & Control systems for oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia. Prior to these roles, they served as a Senior Program Manager.
Bradford's career started in the United States Air Force, where they served as an Acquisition Officer from 2002 to 2006.
Before transitioning to the private sector, they worked at MELE Associates, Inc. as a Program Manager, establishing and growing their aircraft integration group.
Throughout their career, Bradford demonstrated leadership skills, successfully managed teams and projects, and contributed to business growth.
Bradford Powell obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2015 to 2017. In addition, they completed the Acquisition Professional Development Program Level I and II from Defense Acquisition University in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Bradford also holds certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in November 2013, and Northrop Grumman Capture Manager from Northrop Grumman Corporation.
