David Vowles

David Vowles has extensive work experience in the communications and defense sectors. David started their career in 1985 as a Manager Telecommunications Supervisor for the Department of Defence - Army. David then worked for the Australian Defence Force as an STT from 2001 to 2005. In 2004, they became the Technical Director for Ultra Electronics, GigaSat Australia, a role they held until 2012. From 2008 to 2013, David worked as a TSE for the Dept of Defence. David then joined Ultra Electronics Group in 2012 as a Support Engineer, Communications Systems, where they worked until 2021. Currently, David is a Senior Technical Lead - Communications at Ultra Intelligence & Communications.

David Vowles attended Army Apprentice School from 1985 to 1987, where they pursued trade training in electronics. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1984, they attended Ballarat North Technical School. No degree or field of study was specified for this period.
