Alex Queenan is a seasoned professional in systems engineering and consulting, currently serving as a Systems Engineering Consultant at Ultra Maritime since March 2023. As the Managing Director of Queenan Consulting Ltd since November 2013, Alex has led various engineering initiatives. Previous experience includes roles such as Council Member at GLG, Type 31 Mission Systems Consultant and Project Manager at Babcock International Group, and Common Combat System Consultant Engineer at BAE Systems. Notable earlier positions include Principal Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer at Ultra Maritime and Ultra Energy, respectively, as well as positions at Cobham Mission Systems and Ultra Electronics Group. Alex holds a Master of Engineering degree in Acoustical Engineering from the University of Southampton, earned between 2003 and 2007.
