Ultraceuticals
Jie Song's work experience begins in 2011 as a Medical Laboratory Assistant at Nanjing University, where they worked on a research project involving cloning genes, transferring genes to cells, and testing protein expression. In 2015, Jie joined Dr. Christopher Booth as a Laboratory Technician for a brief period. They then pursued a PhD at UNSW, where they also worked as a Lab Demonstrator. After completing their PhD in 2019, Jie returned to Ultraceuticals as a Research and Development Chemist. They later joined UNSW as a Research Associate in 2020 before transitioning to their current role as an Innovation and R&D Chemist at Ultraceuticals in 2021.
Jie Song pursued their education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Nanjing University, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Jie then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Food Technology and Processing at UNSW, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Jie Song continued their educational journey by enrolling in UNSW again, where they completed their PhD in Chemical Engineering from 2015 to 2019.
