Ana Antunes

Ana Antunes, MD, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of Medical Affairs with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Medical Affairs at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since January 2022. Previously, Ana held key roles at EUSA Pharma as Medical Manager for Latin America and Canada, and at Untech as Medical Advisor. With a robust background that includes leadership positions at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals and Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Ana has a strong focus on the medical affairs landscape in Latin America. Ana holds a Medical Doctorate in Pathology and a PhD in biomarkers for cancer from the University of São Paulo, complemented by an MBA in Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
