Deborah Marsden

Deborah Marsden has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a particular focus on medical affairs and genetic diseases. Deborah served as the Global Medical Affairs Lead at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Medical Advisor at Farmington Pharma starting in 2012. From 2010 to 2012, Deborah held the position of Senior Medical Director at Pfizer, where they specialized in orphan and genetic disease research. Before Pfizer, they were the Senior Director at Amicus Therapeutics from 2009 to 2010, where they led global medical affairs for chaperone therapies for lysosomal storage diseases. At Genzyme, where they worked from 2006 to 2008, Deborah was the Director of Global Medical Affairs, overseeing the launch of Myozyme and managing the Global Pompe Disease Registry. Overall, Deborah has extensive experience in medical affairs, global implementation planning, publication strategy, and the management of disease registries.

Deborah Marsden holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from UNSW.
