Joe George

Joe George has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Joe started their career at the FDA as a Biologist and later became a CMC Reviewer/Lead Inspector. In 2011, they joined Genentech as a Sr. Technical Manager and eventually became the Sr. Manager and Head of Quality Operations. In 2017, they moved to Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. as an Associate Director of Quality Assurance and later became the Director of Manufacturing Sciences & Technology. Currently, Joe is working at Ultragenyx where they have held various positions including Director, Senior Director, and Executive Director of CMC QA. Their most recent role at Ultragenyx is as the VP of GxP Compliance & Inspection Management.

Joe George attended Syracuse University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
