Roman Mijnhart

Roman Mijnhart has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Roman is currently serving as the Executive Director Quality at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. Prior to this, Roman worked at Sanofi Genzyme as the Senior Director Quality/QP for nine years. Roman also worked at Progress-PME and Astellas Pharma as a Project Manager/Qualified Person and QA/QP, respectively. Roman has also served as a Qualified Person at MSD and as Site Manager/Qualified Person, QA Manager/Qualified Person, and Team Lead R&D at Wageningen UR (University & Research Centre). Their early career includes a role as a Process Engineer at Sanquin Bloedvoorziening.

Roman Mijnhart obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology and Process Engineering from biotechnology delft from 1986 to 1990. Roman then pursued a Master's degree in Bioprocess Technology at Delft University of Technology from 1990 to 1993.
