Shravanthi Madhavan

Shravanthi Madhavan currently serves as the Director of Program & Portfolio Leadership and Management at Ultragenyx, focusing on rare diseases since March 2021. Prior to this, Shravanthi held the position of Associate Director of Program Management at UNITY Biotechnology, with a specialization in ophthalmology and neuroscience from July 2020 to February 2021. In 2019, Shravanthi worked as a Senior Project Manager at Pliant Therapeutics, concentrating on fibrosis, and from 2017 to 2019 served as a Project Manager in Research Pharmacology at AbbVie, with a focus on oncology. Shravanthi's career also includes a role as a Scientist in in vivo Pharmacology at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from 2011 to 2017, addressing cardiovascular, metabolic diseases, and infectious diseases. Beginning in 2010, Shravanthi gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, working in The Garret Fitzgerald Lab on peripheral pain. Shravanthi earned a Master of Biotechnology with a focus on Biopharmaceutical and Engineering Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011.
