Alex Tovar

Alex Tovar has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Alex started their career as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Scripps Investments & Loans in 2007 and worked there until 2009. Alex then joined UltraStar Cinemas as a Staff Accountant in 2009 and stayed until 2016. At UltraStar Multi-tainment Centers, they held the role of Director of Finance from 2016 to 2019, and later became the Vice President of Finance. In these roles, they were responsible for monitoring cash flow, preparing financial reports, and conducting audits. Overall, Tovar has demonstrated expertise in financial management and accounting throughout their career.

Alex Tovar attended San Diego State University from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics. In 2010, they obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Accounting and Finance from Palomar College. Additionally, they received certifications from the California Tax Education Council, CTEC, in both 2008 and 2010.
