Edward Dowler

Edward Dowler serves as the Head of Fund Operations and General Counsel at Ultratech Capital Partners, overseeing investments in innovative technology companies since January 2021. Concurrently, Edward is the Founder and Managing Director of Pragmatic Law, a firm dedicated to providing legal services for start-ups and scale-ups. Additionally, Edward holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at a Single Family Office. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at LOGOS Legal Services from 2011 to 2020, where extensive advisory work on corporate finance and commercial mandates was conducted. Edward began a legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at CMS UK and gained analytical experience as a Business Analyst at Bain & Company. Edward holds an MBA from Bayes Business School, an LLB from BPP Law School, and a MA in Human Geography from The University of Edinburgh.
