Ashok Sinha is a seasoned mining professional with over two decades of experience in the industry. Currently serving as Senior General Manager at UltraTech Cement since June 2023, Ashok oversees statutory compliance for captive limestone mines, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks while directing mining plan executions. Prior experience includes a decade at Essel Mining and Industries Limited as General Manager, where Ashok managed coal mining operations, financial performance, and strategic budgeting. Previously, Ashok held various positions within the Aditya Birla Group, including Functional Head of Operations and Mines Manager at RajMahal Coal Mining Limited, as well as a supervisory role at Tata Steel overseeing underground coal mining operations. Ashok's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi Vidyapith Institute of Management and Technology and a Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying.
