Karunesh Pandey

Karunesh Pandey has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and administration. Karunesh is currently serving as the Senior Vice President Human Resources at UltraTech Cement. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Human Resources at UltraTech Cement, where they worked from November 2020 to June 2022 and from June 2022 to the present. Before joining UltraTech Cement, they served as the Vice President HR/IR & Administration at Polycab India Limited from September 2017 to November 2020. From 2014 to 2017, Karunesh worked as the HR Head at Hilti Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. Karunesh gained experience as a Human Resources Business Partner and HR Head at Multibase India Ltd. (A Dow Corning Company) from January 2011 to December 2013. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager - HR & Personnel at Richter Themis Medicare (I) Pvt. Ltd from July 2007 to January 2011. Karunesh started their career as the Manager Administration at Kalpena Industries Limited in October 1999.

From 2022 to 2023, Karunesh attended XLRI Jamshedpur and obtained a degree in Building Capability - ACE, with a focus on HR Strategy & Leadership.

Between 2015 and 2017, Karunesh pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources from Glocal University in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

From 1995 to 1999, Karunesh studied at Calcutta University in Kolkata and earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) with Honors. The field of study was Accounting and Business/Management.

Between 1993 and 1995, Karunesh attended Umesh Chandra College in Kolkata and obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a focus on Commerce.

In 1992, Karunesh completed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Fort Gloster Vidyalaya in West Bengal.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Karunesh has obtained two additional certifications. In 2020, Karunesh became a Certified HR Business Partner from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR. In 2012, Karunesh also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Dow Corning University.
