Carolyn Hua

Product Designer at Ultraviolet

Carolyn Hua has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Product Designer at Ultraviolet. In this role, they collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to design and implement the brand across multiple platforms. Their main projects include website and mobile app design, as well as prototyping product demos.

Prior to this, Carolyn worked as a Website Developer at USC Viterbi School of Engineering from 2020 to 2022. Carolyn also gained experience as a Product Design Intern at Frontida Records in 2021, where they assisted in various design projects.

In 2020, Carolyn served as a Co-Organizer (Design) at HackSC and as a Graphic & Mobile Design Intern at Open Sesame Media, Inc. Carolyn also worked as a Freelance Designer in the Greater Los Angeles Area from 2019 to 2021.

Additionally, Carolyn held positions as a Graphics Intern at USC Undergraduate Student Government in 2019 and as a Student Graphic Designer at USC Annenberg Media from 2019 to 2020. Carolyn began their professional journey as an Administrative Assistant at Los Angeles Choreographers & Dancers in 2019.

Carolyn Hua attended Highland Park High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Carolyn then pursued their higher education at the University of Southern California from 2018 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in May 2020, Carolyn obtained a certification from Adobe as an Adobe Certified Associate in Graphic Design & Illustration Using Adobe Illustrator.
