Melvin Olivo

Melvin Olivo has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Melvin began their career as a Systems Administrator at Computer Learning Center, where they managed a team and maintained network servers. Melvin then joined ESILSG, Educational Services Inc./Learning Systems Group, as a Systems Administrator, where they administered servers and migrated systems. Following this, they worked at SAIC as a Deployment Engineer, providing technical support and creating standard office procedures. Melvin later became the Lead Systems Engineer at SAIC, supporting various pilot projects and providing technical assistance. Melvin then worked at Interaction Associates as a Systems Administrator/Helpdesk, overseeing server maintenance and managing multiple servers. Melvin joined Waters as a Systems Administrator/Helpdesk, implementing and managing data centers and converting servers to virtuals. Melvin also founded JATI Computers NE, where they created business policies and procedures for IT services. Most recently, they worked at UMassFive College Federal Credit Union as the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology, overseeing the department's performance and information security systems.

Melvin Olivo obtained an associate's degree in Computer Systems and Network Technology from the Computer Learning Center, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Melvin has acquired several certifications from LinkedIn in various fields such as data governance, spreadsheet design, auditing information systems, virtual team management, time management, and improving thinking skills. These certifications were obtained between 2021 and 2023.
