Cindy Van Niekerk

Cindy Van Niekerk is the CEO and founder of Umazi, a blockchain implementation company. Cindy has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, working for companies such as HSBC Global Banking and Markets and the Marco Polo Network. Cindy is a strong advocate for the use of blockchain technology in the financial sector, and has been working on various projects to help increase its adoption.

Cindy Van Niekerk is a certified Corda Developer from R3 and has a certificate in KYC and CDD from the International Compliance Association. Cindy also has a National Diploma in Travel & Tourism Management from Technikon Pretoria in South Africa. Cindy is currently enrolled in the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
