Prior to that role, Shannon was the EVP/Chief Human Resources Officer at UMB Financial Corp from 2008 to November 2019, overseeing people programs for over 3,900 associates. Shannon also served as the SVP & Executive Director Talent Management & Development and SVP/HR Business Partner within the company. Shannon holds a degree in HR Director Program from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
