Aaron McCauley

Mission Systems Architect at Umbra

Aaron McCauley is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in mission systems architecture and project management. Currently serving as a Mission Systems Architect at Umbra since September 2023, McCauley previously held multiple roles at The Aerospace Corporation, including Senior Project Engineer and Engineering Specialist. Prior experience in the United States Air Force from June 2011 to August 2018 included roles such as Chief Engineer and Program Manager, focused on high-value acquisition performance and system health. McCauley also contributed to research in radar systems, emphasizing signal processing and machine learning during graduate studies at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, where a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering was obtained. McCauley earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University in 2011.
