Kim Kotnik

Vice President at Umbra

Kim Kotnik has worked for a number of different companies over the years, starting in 1994 with the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico, where they held the role of Director of Public Affairs. In 1995, they also worked as an Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Business Correspondent for The Economist. In 1996, they were a Marketing Manager for the International Division of Kleinfelder. From 1998 to 2012, they were a Principal/Director at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they grew and led a $55 million professional services book of business focusing on international economic development, procurement and business strategy. From 2012 to 2019, they were the Owner & Chief Operating Officer of Delta Welding & Fabrication Inc., executing a business sale at a strong valuation and successfully transitioning to new ownership. Kim currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Umbra Lab.

Kim Kotnik received an MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science & International Relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
