Jing Liang

Co-founder & Managing Partner at Umbrex

Jing Liang's work experience includes serving as the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Umbrex, a global community of independent management consultants. They also co-founded Storelli and served on the Board of Directors. Additionally, Liang founded Sunflower Academy Ukraine, a charity fund providing educational support to Ukrainian orphans. They served as a board member for SIDIS Corp and Cancer Support Community. Liang also founded Heliome Biotech, an unsuccessful biotech company, and served as Interim CEO of Micelle BioPharma. They founded Attenua, a biotechnology company focused on respiratory disorders, and worked as a Principal at ThinkPoint Associates, a healthcare consulting firm. Finally, they served as a Special Projects Manager at GSK.

Jing Liang began their education at State College Area High School, where they completed their high school education from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they attended Penn State University from 1996 to 2000, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Biochemistry, with a minor in Chemistry. Jing Liang then went on to pursue a PhD in Biophysics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, completing their doctoral studies from 2000 to 2007.
