Tunde Alaofin, Ph.D., is a seasoned academic and technology professional currently serving as a Professor of Information Technology at the University of Maryland Global Campus since January 2017. With extensive experience in delivering blended courses focused on Software Engineering, Systems Analysis & Development, Database Management Systems, Computer Networking Systems, and Cloud Computing, Tunde has also held faculty positions at Washington Adventist University and the University of Phoenix. Prior to academia, Tunde was the Franchise Owner and CTO of Geeks On Call, managing technology services and network support for businesses. Additional roles include Program Manager at Unisys, Director of Information Systems at LighTrade Incorporated, and Full-Time Faculty at Allen University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Information Management Systems from Walden University and a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Georgia Southwestern State University.
