Karla Battistella is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and governance. Currently serving as the Director of Operations and People at UMI Fund since October 2022 and as Diretora at Rio Bonito, Karla has held prominent roles in various organizations including as Operations Director at WRI Brasil and Organizational Director at Greenpeace, where responsibilities encompassed HR, Finance, Governance, IT, and Legal areas. Additionally, Karla has been a member of the Conselho Fiscal at both Anistia Internacional Brasil and Fundo Brasil de Direitos Humanos. With a strong educational background, Karla holds degrees in Law and multiple business administration disciplines from prestigious institutions, complemented by expertise in change management and macroeconomics.
