Angela Wiggins

Angela Wiggins is a highly experienced research professional with a focus on mass spectrometry and metabolomics. Currently serving as the Research Lab Specialist Lead and Analyst at the University of Michigan's Biomedical Research Core Facilities Metabolomics Core since February 2017, Wiggins previously worked as a Research Associate and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Medical School from September 1999 to February 2017, specializing in proteomics with a focus on chemical crosslinking, de novo sequencing, and bioinformatics. Wiggins holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from The University of Texas at Arlington and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the same institution, complemented by early education at Texas A&M University and Kaufman High.
