Eileen Kostanecki

Eileen Kostanecki currently serves as the Director of Policy Engagement & External Relations at the University of Michigan's Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation, a leading center focused on evaluating and improving health policy and advising policymakers on health-related issues. With a robust background in health policy, Eileen has held significant positions such as Senior Health Policy Advisor at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Assistant Secretary for the Health & Human Services Agency in California, and Deputy Director at the State of Michigan's Washington, DC Office. Eileen began their career in legislative roles, including serving as Legislative Director for The Economic Alliance for Michigan and Health Policy Advisor for the Michigan House of Representatives. Eileen's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish and a Master's degree from Wayne State University.
