Ian Schrack is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Michigan, focusing on Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. With a strong background in research and leadership, Ian serves as the Co-President and Co-Chair of the Social Committee within the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Council, fostering community among graduate students. Ian's professional experience includes project management at miLEAD Consulting, where strategic development for clients is prioritized, and participation in the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps program as Co-Entrepreneurial Lead. Prior work includes significant contributions to CAR T cell therapy research at City of Hope and co-founding Dolore Biotechnology, which developed a novel diagnostic device for sickle cell disease. Ian holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
