Karthik Ramani

Karthik Ramani, MD, MBA, MHA, CPE, FACP, FASN, FASDIN, serves as Medical Director of Vascular Access Services Team and Medical Director of Interventional Nephrology at the University of Michigan, leading strategic initiatives and clinical operations to enhance patient care. With extensive experience in nephrology, Karthik has previously held key roles, including Physician Advisor to the Chief Medical Officer at Sutter Health and Director of Operations at Mercy Health, where significant improvements in patient outcomes and operational efficiencies were realized. Karthik advanced education and training in interventional nephrology as Program Director of the Interventional Nephrology Fellowship and is actively involved in research and innovative therapies. Karthik's academic credentials include an MBA and an MHA from the University of Michigan and the University of Cincinnati, respectively, along with specialized fellowship training in nephrology.
