Kevin Field

Kevin Field is the Co-Founder & Vice President at Theia Scientific, LLC. Prior to this role, Kevin worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a Weinberg Fellow - Research Staff. Kevin also held positions at companies such as ANSTO, Caterpillar Inc., and ArcelorMittal. Currently, Kevin serves as the Director of the Michigan Ion Beam Laboratory and an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan. Kevin's expertise lies in investigating deformation localization in irradiated materials, examining microchemical variations, researching phase stability in alloys, and developing post-irradiation examination techniques. Throughout their career, Kevin has also been involved in integrating software and hardware components for advanced ion beam interaction monitoring and control.
