Krishnan Mahesh

Krishnan Mahesh serves as the Richard B. Couch Professor at the University of Michigan, specializing in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering since August 2022. Previously, Krishnan Mahesh held various academic positions including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Minnesota from November 2000 to August 2022. Earlier in his career, Krishnan Mahesh worked as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Turbulence Research from June 1996 to October 2000. Academic qualifications include a PhD and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
