Michael Emery currently serves as a Research Investigator at the University of Michigan since July 2018, following a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Previously, Michael was a Graduate Student at Texas A&M University from August 2011 to May 2018, contributing to research under Dr. Shoshana Eitan and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for six semesters, managing a lab section for a research methodology course. Michael also worked as a Grader, overseeing grading for approximately 430 students in an Introduction to Psychology course. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant in the Restorative Neuroscience Laboratory at Southern Illinois University under Dr. Michael Hoane and as a Student Worker in the Chemistry Department Stockroom. Michael holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Texas A&M University and a BA in Psychology from Southern Illinois University.
