Nancy Muyanja

Lead Xray Microscopy Scientist at The University of Michigan

Nancy (Senabulya) Muyanja, PhD, is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in microscopy and engineering. Currently serving as the Lead X-ray Microscopy Scientist at the University of Michigan, Nancy has held various significant roles, including Senior Research Laboratory Specialist and Instrument Scientist. Nancy's expertise in materials characterization is further showcased through previous positions at the Michigan Center for Materials Characterization and as an X-ray and Electron Microscopist. Earlier career experiences include work as an Electrical Design Engineer at the Center for Research in Transportation Technology, a Teaching Assistant at Makerere University, and a Graduate Energy Engineer within the ICT4MPOWER Project. Nancy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Physics and a Master of Science (M.S.E) in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan.
