Revanth Damerla is the Co-Founder and CEO of Grasp Robotics, a company focused on developing artificial muscles that mimic human muscle capabilities to enhance the functionality of prostheses, a role held since June 2023. Concurrently, Revanth is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Michigan, where research involves the design of prosthetic and robotic hands and also serves as a Graduate Student Instructor for the course ME 552 - Mechatronic Systems Design. Revanth's educational background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, expected to be completed in June 2025, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in June 2018.
