Shonda Adams

North Campus Sustainability Initiative Founding Member at The University of Michigan

Shonda Adams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in higher education and the arts. Currently serving as a Founding Member of the North Campus Sustainability Initiative and Admissions Coordinator at the University of Michigan since June 2012, Shonda is responsible for processing applications and maintaining admissions decisions for specialized engineering programs. Previously, Shonda worked as a Mosaic Artist at Blue Honu Mosaics from 2005 to 2016 and held the position of Administrative Assistant at the University of Michigan's Optics and Photonics Laboratory from September 1999 to March 2012, starting as a temporary secretary. Shonda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida and completed continuing education in Computer Art and Animation at the School of Visual Arts.
