Daniel Prial

Daniel Prial is an experienced communications and community expert currently working at Umicore since August 2021, where Daniel leads the internal communications strategy for the Digital Workplace team, facilitating digital community connections for over 12,000 colleagues globally. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Community Foods and Outreach Specialist at the National Center for Appropriate Technology, promoting sustainable practices among farmers and the food system. Daniel also founded Prial Outreach Consulting, where Daniel helped organizations engage with their communities. Daniel's background includes positions as an Environmental Educator at Antioch University New England, a Park Guide/Ranger with the National Park Service, and an Environmental Education Specialist with the Peace Corps. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Environmental Education from Antioch University New England and a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Colgate University.
