Eric le Roux

Eric le Roux is an experienced professional in the field of materials engineering, currently serving as Operations Manager at Umicore since August 2022. Previously, Eric held the position of Production Engineer at Aluminium Duffel from April 2020 to July 2022, focusing on the rolling mills department. Eric has also contributed as a Research and Development Engineer at Aleris Aluminum Duffel BVBA, specializing in automotive body R&D, and as a Development Engineer at MAHLE, where the focus was on development in the automotive market, particularly heat exchangers and machine and process development. Prior to these roles, Eric was a Product Manager at Hulamin, overseeing industrially coated and painted rolled aluminum products and conducting corrosion science research. Eric earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Pretoria, completing studies between 2004 and 2009.
