Erik Cross

Erik Cross is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in dynamometer testing and after-treatment system development. Currently serving as the Auburn Hills Test Center Engineering Team Manager and Catalyst Test Engineer at Umicore since November 2017, Erik leads a team focused on engine and chassis testing for gasoline and diesel applications. Prior to this role, Erik held positions at Ford Motor Company, where expertise in test cell operations and advanced research was honed. Additional experience includes working as a driving instructor, a dynamometer technician, and involvement in motorsports as a driver and mechanic. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
