Michael Herkommer

Michael Herkommer possesses extensive experience in the metal deposition and electroplating industry, currently serving as Vice President of Metal Deposition Solutions and Managing Director of Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH since January 2005. Prior roles at Umicore include Business Line Manager and Technical Sales Director, among others. Earlier experience includes positions at Multek, Huntsman Corporation, and Ciba, as well as a brief stint focused on personal development at my way. Academically, Michael holds an M.Sc. in Corrosion Science from The University of Manchester and a B.Sc. in Surface Technology and Materials Science from Aalen University, with foundational education culminating in an Abitur from Parler Gymnasium Schwäbisch Gmünd.
