Simon van Walle

Simon van Walle currently serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Umicore, where the focus is on executing the CORE strategy within the company's operations in electrification, emissions reduction, battery recycling, and precious metals recycling. Previous roles include Head of Marketing, Market Intelligence, and Business Research at PMR, as well as various managerial positions within the same company. Simon van Walle has also held board membership at the European Precious Metals Federation and participated in the Beltug Blockchain Task Force. Prior experience includes working as a Business Manager at Movify and roles in project management at KBC Bank & Verzekering and ATOLO. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Management Science from Solvay Brussels School and additional studies at Carleton University and KU Leuven.
