The board of directors at Umicore has a long and varied history, with members coming from many different industries and educational backgrounds. Some of the companies that the board members have come from include Antwerp Management School, BioRICS, SOITEC, STEM Platform, Matterwave Ventures, Boralex Inc., Etex, Prysmian Group, Microsoft, Philips, AllSeen Alliance, Tender Loving Canines Assistant Dogs (TLCAD), Permira, Night Dragon Acquisition Corporation, General Atlantic, and Snowflake. The board members have also studied at many different schools, including the University of Gent, Guldensporencollege Kortrijk, École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech - Université de Liège, UCLA Anderson School of Management, University of California, Davis, Marist College, and Boston University.
