Mark Sawkin

Mark Sawkin, PharmD, AAHIVP, serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Pharmacy since September 2017, with previous roles as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration since November 2011. Mark specializes in pharmacotherapy related to HIV/AIDS, opportunistic infections, and chronic disease state management, while also directing the PGY-1 Public Health Pharmacy Practice Residency. Earlier experience includes serving as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor and completing a Public Health Pharmacy Practice Residency at Kansas City Free Health Clinic. Mark's education includes a Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the same institution.
