Ayanda Vilakazi

Ayanda Vilakazi is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Manager: Expenditure at uMshwathi Municipality since October 2013, overseeing all activities in the creditors and salaries sections of the financial department. Prior experience includes the role of Accountant: Expenditure at Emnambithi/Ladysmith Municipality from December 2010 to September 2013, and a finance position at Indaka Local Municipality from January 2009 to November 2010. Ayanda began a career in finance as a Finance Graduate at Foskor from January 2008 to December 2009, where exposure to various finance functions, including Management Accounting, Financial, Imports and Exports, and Project/Asset Management was gained. Ayanda holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Cost and Management Accounting from the Durban University of Technology, completed in 2007, and graduated from Colenso Combined School in 2003.
