Shelby Powell

Shelby Powell is an experienced professional in development and marketing, currently serving as the Director of Development at UMYH - United Methodist Youth Home since May 2022, where responsibilities include the creation and management of a comprehensive fundraising plan. In addition, Shelby has been the Marketing Communications Manager and Business Owner at Shutter Me Southern Photography since March 2017, overseeing brand marketing and client interactions. Prior roles include Customer Service and Sales Representative at Anne Thrasher Boyd State Farm, where Shelby managed product marketing and customer satisfaction, and Sales and Marketing Representative at April Stewart-Fryman State Farm. Shelby also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at both Home Instead Senior Care and Newburgh Chandler Public Library, along with administrative responsibilities at Growing Minds Learning Center. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing from the University of Southern Indiana.
