Melissa Willey has extensive experience in administrative and management roles, currently serving as an Administrative Assistant with the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety Unit at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity since 2013. Previously, Melissa held the position of Team Assistant in Administration, Finance and Conference Services at the same organization. Prior to this, Melissa worked as an Inventory Administrator at Ferris International, where a rapid promotion followed initial onboarding as an order entry clerk. Experience also includes a role as a Consultant at Templar Research, a market research start-up, and as the Director of Data Entry at Megatab Recherche, where Melissa progressed from a temporary data entry clerk to overseeing a team of up to 25 employees. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Human Environment from Concordia University and various certifications and degrees in related fields.
