Stefanie Barabas

Stefanie Barabas currently serves as Head of Staff Development at the UNFCCC since April 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Senior HR Business Partner at Allianz Technology from May 2015 to March 2017, and HR Business Partner at the European Patent Office from April 2011 to March 2014. Stefanie's background also includes a position as Human Resources/Staff Development Officer at the United Nations from August 2006 to March 2011, and as a Lecturer and Research Associate in Work- and Organizational Psychology at Justus-Liebig University Giessen from October 2005 to August 2006. Additionally, involvement as Project Manager for the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Uganda at Makerere University Business School from August 2003 to August 2005 and as an Educational Associate at Bildungswerk der Hessischen Wirtschaft e.V. from April 2002 to August 2003 are part of Stefanie's diverse experience. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Giessen, Germany, and a Certificate in Client-centred psychotherapy and counselling from the Institute for client-centred psychotherapy and counselling.
