Tatenda Gotore

Tatenda Gotore is an experienced professional specializing in climate change and forestry management. Currently serving as a Certified Reviewer for Climate Change at UN Climate Change, Tatenda's expertise encompasses GHG Inventory, REDD+, Forest Reference Levels, and Biennial Reports for Zimbabwe. As a researcher at the University of the Witwatersrand, Tatenda focuses on the sustainable management of Miombo Woodlands. Previous roles include Forestry and Climate Change focal point at Zimbabwe Forestry Commission, managing environmental impact assessment projects at Midlayer Environmental Consultancy, and plantation forestry at Allied Timbers Zimbabwe. Tatenda holds a Master of Philosophy in Forest Ecology and possesses a diploma in Project Planning and Management, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science Honors with a focus on Forestry.
