Jason Jabbour

Jason Jabbour is a seasoned professional in environmental management, currently serving as a Senior Programme Coordinator at the UN Environment Programme since August 2007, where responsibilities include oversight of the Chief Scientist's office and management of UNEP's North America Program. Previous roles encompass Regional Coordinator and Programme Officer, focusing on early warning systems, integrated environmental assessments, and climate change adaptation strategies. Jason's experience also includes serving as a Policy Advisor for Environment, Conservation and Parks and a Policy Officer for the Ontario Government's Ministry of Indigenous Affairs. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Sustainability Science from Technische Universität Berlin, a Master's in Forest Conservation from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies with a focus on Geography from the University of Waterloo.
