Simon Deprez

Simon Deprez is a seasoned professional in the field of housing and urban development, currently serving as a Senior Housing Expert at UN-Habitat since April 2023, where responsibilities include providing technical support for housing indicators and national reports in five West African countries. Simon co-founded ETC, a multidisciplinary studio focused on research and project development in crisis territories, and is also a co-founder of Justo Custo, a magazine on housing challenges in Portugal. Additional roles include external evaluator positions for various projects funded by international organizations and consulting on urban and housing issues for the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Simon possesses a solid educational background in architecture, holding degrees from multiple prestigious institutions and completing a recent course on housing policies.
