Diego De La Rosa is an experienced communications specialist with a focus on gender equality and violence prevention, currently serving as the Ending Violence against Women Communication Specialist for UN Women in the Asia-Pacific region since July 2023. Previously, Diego held various roles at UN Women from 2014 to 2022, including Regional Communications Specialist for the Arab States and Regional Communications and Visibility Expert for Asia-Pacific. Diego's experience also includes being a Member Communications Officer at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and serving in advocacy and communications roles at UNFPA and UNHCR. Diego holds a Master's Degree in Global Communications from Bangkok University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Communications and Journalism from Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, along with postgraduate studies in Contemporary Philosophy from Universidad del Norte.
